As a custom furniture builder and maker working locally in the Washington, DC area, I can help you with everything from sourcing the right materials to designing and constructing your piece of furniture. I have experience building reclaimed wood furniture, built-in shelving; night stands, tables, benches, love seats; kitchen islands; and sculpture pedestals.

Do you work in wood or metal?

Both. I work in wood, reclaimed wood, and metal ranging from aluminum to steel to stainless steel and copper as needed.

Can you make me something out of lumber I salvaged or a tree that fell down on my property?

Yes and yes! I’m happy to work with materials that you provide and am happy to work with you at finding the best possible future use for the materials provided.

Can you match stains on existing furniture?

Yes, sometimes, but not always.
